Video Exclusive: Interview with Allied Wallet CEO Andy Khawaja - Part 1 of 2 - PaymentEye →

Los Angeles, CA: Allied Wallet, global payment processing and merchant services company, has been seeing steady press recognition for their technological advancements, state-of-the-art security, and multi-currency payment gateway. More recently, they were featured on paymenteye.com in an interview with Founder/CEO Andy Khawaja.

Mr. Khawaja briefly details the roots of his business and how his vision has come to life in this two-part series. Andy first offers a glimpse at his personality. He has always found joy in hearing about the businesses of other entrepreneurs and thrives on finding ways for them to increase their profitability.

Khawaja created Allied Wallet to give merchants the opportunity to sell their products to the world and offers them peace of mind through the process. He created a global payment services company that specializes in 164 currencies from all over the world.

Andy stresses the idea that there are no existing competitors because what Allied Wallet offers is nothing like anyone has seen before.

“What we do is very unique. We have state of the art technology. Everything we build is in house. Our gateway is state of the art. It’s multi-lingual. It’s multi-currency. The quality of the service we provide is outstanding.”

Part one of the interview stresses why Allied Wallet is an important player in the payment gateway and merchant services industry.

“The internet is global. In order for you to stay in the game, you must team up with a global processor who can provide multi-currency processing, multi-currency settlement, [and who is able to] accommodate you in terms of your business structure,” says Khawaja.

He adds, “It’s very important to make sure that your customers are happy. [We help you] grow your business by making your customers happy.”

Part two will be released by paymenteye.com later this month.

Sneak peek of the new Play Store!
Love the cards look seen at the bottom of the first page, with nice, big icons. Also love that Games is finally a category equal to its peers, rather than being that weird button next to the categories.
(Ignore the oddly colored action bars at the top, those apparently are codes to identify who leaked the pics)

Looks like google has really taken the time on ui/ux design on this one!

Happy 40th birthday to the Mobile!

“On April 3rd, 1973, Motorola engineer Marty Cooper placed the first public call from a cellphone. In midtown Manhattan, Cooper called Joel Engel — head of rival research department Bell Labs — saying “Joel, this is Marty. I’m calling you from a cell phone, a real handheld portable cell phone.” The call was placed on a Motorola DynaTAC 8000x, which weighed 2.5 pounds, a far cry from today’s 4-ounce handsets.” - theverge.com

Paago Invoice: Why Small Businesses are More Vulnerable to Hackers →

paagoinvoice:

Great article on why small businesses need reputable, dependable, and PCI compliant eServices.

Not to be alarmist, but the headline is completely true. According to a report by the International Association of Privacy Professionals, small businesses “have more gray areas and less direction”…

Great article!

Consider going with a company that is PCI Level 1 Compliant, the highest certification level you can achieve.
